Creulana, a small country in Eastern Europe, is a ticking time bomb. After a political putsch, a tyrant named Anton Volkakov seized power. With this change, the military and police became institutions that no longer protected people. The trust that once was, was burnt to ashes. With taxes at an all-time high and salaries at an all-time low, the people struggled just to live. This state went on for three years, when suddenly, the revolutionary group, Let It Burn, emerged, turning peaceful protests into something more violent, hoping to bring freedom to their tormented nation.

Let It Burn Members

Let It Burn, also known as LIB, is the rebellious group that is fighting for the freedom of Creulana. LIB was founded during the third year of tyranny and has been active ever since. Founded by Phantom and Spectre - two anonymous individuals whose identity is only known by a few - with the burning desire for change, after experiencing firsthand the wrongdoings of the new system.LIB places themselves at the heart of each protest, encouraging the people to escalate their actions. Through clashing with the police, handing out Molotov cocktails, and power in numbers, the violence and passion only grows amongst the people. What was once a "peaceful protest" now became a revolution of hope for the people. When LIB grew into an organization, it continued with hacking government systems and broadcasting messages. Their ultimate goal is a full scale revolution, which would result in the downfall of Anton Volkakov and free elections.

The Crew

Creulanian Armed Forces

The Creulanian Armed Forces's main task is to protect the sovereignty of Creulana, but there have been cases lately when they were called to aid riot control at protests that got too violent. Young men at the age of 18 are obliged to enlist and serve for four years in the Creulanian Army. Soldiers are often pressured to sign an additional four years of service. Applicants must meet several criteria before being accepted:

  • Must have a Creulanian citizenship and permanent residence

  • Must meet the age limit (18-35 years)

  • Must have a high school diploma

  • Must be physically and mentally fit

  • Must have a clean record

The military was deployed to help the Police during the "Red Sea in Betlak" once the mass arson was committed. The deployed soldiers had to stop the fire with the police and firefighters to save Betlak from being destroyed in the fire. Volkakov's answer to the mass arson was another raid carried out by the military, hundreds of people being beaten, and arrested, some even sentenced to death.

Creulanian Police

The Creulanian Police Forces' primary duty is law enforcement, but in recent years riot control has become one of their main responsibilities. The National Police Academy in the capital city, Betlak, is the only place where future members of the police are trained. The requirements for a successful application are similar to the ones in the military, however, less strict:

  • Creulanian citizenship

  • Age limit (18-45 years)

  • Permanent registered residence

  • Clean record

  • High school diploma

  • Psychological and mental fitness

During protests, not only officers with riot shields are present, but mounted policemen and K9 as well. The police use horses to charge toward the crowd, trying to scare people away. There have been cases when the horses trampled people, which resulted in the crowd being fired up and going on a rampage. That was the most violent protest in the history of Creulana, as part of the city burned down.

Born into a military family, Mountain had a hard upbringing. His mother died when he was young, making his father even more merciless. His father was an ex-SBS operator, and he began training Moutain when he was 4, saying that he couldn't stomach his son's weakness.He regularly received physical punishments if he didn't complete a task perfectly or cried. When he was 5, his father put him in a hole that was under the house's foundation because he told him that his tummy ached. Mountain couldn't move an inch and spent hours there, eventually, slugs sliding all over him. He has hated them ever since.At 18, he enlisted in the British Army to get away from his father. His years of training, stoicism, and ability to take orders quickly got him into higher ranks. Three years into his service, he was recruited into SBS.After years in the SBS, he decided he didn't want to be like his father, so he quit and instead served in a PMC for a few years. He quit the PMC for LIB when he was contacted, wanting to use his skills for a good cause.

  • Maddie is his best friend, she helped him get better with his emotions

  • Shadow is one of his closest friends and gym bro. And where is Shadow Phia is not far either, so that makes her a close friend as well

He ended up smoking, drinking, and self-harming in his teenage years, not knowing how to deal with things healthily.Being taken to the hospital after a really bad cut, he decided he wanted to change his life, so he enlisted at the age of 18 in the Hungarian Army. He has been in multiple deployments all over the world, and after long years of service, he left everything behind when he met with a Creulanian refugee. He got in contact with Phantom, and he travelled to Creulana to help.

Born in Canada, she lived there until 9 when both her parents passed away in a fatal car accident. After losing her parents, she moved to Puerto Rico to live with her aunt.She fell into deep depression after being orphaned, falling into bad habits, and eventually running away at 15. She switched between sleeping on the streets and couch surfing at her friends' houses until she finally gathered herself together and forced herself to fix her mental health. Wanting a fresh start, she moved to Creulana and made herself a life as a tattoo artist.Once Volkakov took over the country, she attended a protest with her best friend to demand justice. The protest grew violent, and the Police began shooting rubber bullets into the crowd. One of them hit her best friend in the ribs, making the bone break and puncture their lungs. They tragically passed away in her arms.She became enraged even further by the tyranny occurring with Creulana and joined LIB to honor her fallen best friend and to seek vengeance for all those who had died under Volkakov's regime.

  • As a survivalist, she has a wide variety of skills, for example, she can patch up and stitch minor wounds on the field, craft molotovs, etc

  • Terrible driver. She runs over curbs a lot and can't parallel park at all

  • Decent at shooting but is still learning. Best with knives, throwables, and fist fighting

  • One time, she was training with Mountain, who's a giant compared to her. She threw him over her shoulder, Mountain trying to breathe on the ground with the most baffled expression. When Shadow laughed and made fun of Mountain, sort of underestimating Phia, she threw Shadow too over her shoulder, Phia and Maddie cackling at the two baffled men

Despite there being only a scarce amount of information about his life, it's known that he grew up in poor conditions with a loving family. His origins make him appreciate more what he built with Phantom and LIB.He possibly studied marketing or filmmaking, as he is outstanding at making both recruitment videos and news ones for LIB to broadcast.Met Phantom in high school. Phantom asked him out multiple times unsuccessfully, but in the end, he agreed. They have been inseparable since then.His hate for Volkakov and the system became stronger when his family got evicted. They had to move into an abandoned warehouse with other homeless families. Then one time, when he was walking home with Phantom, police officers caught the two of them kissing on the street. Two of the officers beat Phantom up while one held Spectre back to watch. When Spectre couldn't bear to watch it, he stepped in, earning a few cuts for spoiling the officers' fun. He founded LIB with Phantom in retalliation.

They've been together ever since.He ran away from how when he learned the truth about his father's connections and stayed with Spectre and his family. He got beaten up by police officers once when he was walking Spectre home, for kissing publicly. Spectre stepped in and got cut as a punishment.He began working out after that, promising himself that he would protect Spectre from anything and everything, and that they would make this system fall together.

Born in the capital, Betlak, Pyro had his last straw with the regime when his father lost his job due to an injury he acquired during work. Police officers made him climb higher than safe, and he fell.His mother's job could barely feed the family of four, Pyro included, so in his frustration, he began attending protests. He was the one who threw the first Molotov during one of the protests, needing an outlet for his anger.Later, he was recruited into LIB. He joined without a second thought, wanting to bring change so his family could live in peace and without fear of being thrown out to the street.

Born in Bordeaux, France, his family was mostly involved in winemaking. They had a big property full of wine grapes and apple trees. He grew up helping his family take care of the grapes, so when he learned that his parents wanted to pass the business down to him, he panicked he would get stuck making wine all his life, so he ran away.He enlisted in the French Police, despite feeling guilty about leaving. He finally felt like he was at the right place, where he was meant to be. That feeling changed when he was patrolling with his partner when suddenly a bomb went off too close just before dispatch could warn them. He couldn't save his partner, who almost instantly passed away.He tried to work through his trauma by going for medical training, then medical school. After his graduation and return to the police, he saved a child who was run over by a bicyclist during one of his patrols, and he got recruited into GIGN.After years of service, he ended up quitting when he saw Volkakov's cruelty in Creulana in the news, and instead, he travelled to Creulana to assist LIB as their doctor.
